Testimonials

HIGHLY RECOMMEND. They are one of the very few home healthcare companies that I would say has a solid understanding of live in care support for families especially where care needs are significant (like in my Dad's case with his progressive lewy body dementia).I am most impressed with their match process. When we were looking for a home health company, Care Mountain was the only company that did not push us to sign the contract and then took time to find the right match. Their caregivers were very knowledgeable about dementia and speak highly of the owners so that is a good thing. They have a team of live in caregivers take care of my parents 24/7 in Westworth Village. The caregivers back each other all the time so we always have coverage.

My Mom has Dementia. The team at Care Mountain Home Health has been supporting us and they have done a fantastic job. They help Mom every day, including weekends and they have never missed a single day’s shift in over a year of working with us. Our caregiver from Care Mountain is amazing and we are so lucky to have her. She is patient and yet engages with Mom to ensure she bathes, has regular meals and meds, and engages with her. Sometimes they cook together as well which mom really enjoys. We have recently added physical therapy to her care plan with Care Mountain and the team has coordinated among the caregiver and therapist really well. I would highly recommend them for anyone looking for solid and reliable caregiver or nurse.

Care Mountain really does put the care at the fore front of healthcare. As a single mom balancing my life with my Mom’s progressive lewy body dementia, I needed some respite care for her. I was recommended Care Mountain about a year ago by a doctor friend of mine. I found their team to be so knowledgeable. They understand care needs for someone with Dementia. One thing I like about Care Mountain is that the team listens well and are open about the pros and cons of key care decisions. Mom is so fond of her caregiver and is happy to see them. It’s definitely such a relief to know that your loved one is in good hands.

A few months ago my dad had a pretty nasty fall in the bathroom and has since then been in and out of rehab and back. We wanted to make sure he had dedicated and professional help all the time as he recovered. I researched and spoke extensively with many home care companies in the area and was very impressed with the knowledge and listening skills of the office staff and the quality of the caregivers from Care Mountain. They have taken such good care of my Dad’s care needs and go to great lengths to coordinate with rehab center’s physical therapist and our geriatric doctor to make sure all the necessary steps are being coordinated keeping his safety and steady recovery paramount. This has been a huge help for us since I travel extensively and couldn't have ensured all this close coordination without them. We are about to finish up our services with them and would definitely recommend Care Mountain for people looking for high quality care and a knowledgeable team to help you navigate smoothly in what can be an otherwise confusing healthcare journey for your parents.

I have had the occasion of requiring home health care which I arranged with the aid of Care Mountain.I was assigned Ms Martha Winters. Ms Winters quickly became not only a care giver, but a friend. She tended to my needs including transportation to doctor's visits. When my home supplies ran out or became low, she visited stores to solve the issue. She was always punctual and prepared to fill my needs including coordination with other family members.Ms Winters deserves to receive the highest rating as she is a true professional.

Live-in care involves a caregiver residing in the client's home, providing assistance as needed throughout the day and night, typically with breaks for rest and personal time. In contrast, 24-hour care involves round-the-clock supervision and support by a team of caregivers who work in shifts to ensure continuous care without interruption. While live-in care may be suitable for individuals who require moderate assistance and can allow for more consistency in caregiver-client relationships, 24-hour care offers constant monitoring and immediate assistance for those with more complex needs or who require frequent medical attention. At Care Mountain, we provide both live-in and 24-hour care options, tailored to the specific needs and preferences of our clients.

Dementia patients often fare better at home due to the inherent support system and familiarity with their surroundings. At home, individuals with dementia can participate in their own care more actively. They remain familiar with details such as the floor plan, furniture, and bedrooms, which can provide a sense of comfort and security. Care provided in the familiar environment of home often promotes a higher quality of life and greater independence for dementia patients. At Care Mountain, we understand the importance of maintaining a familiar environment for individuals with dementia, and we provide specialized in-home care services to support their unique needs.
